More All Star Game

I randomly stumbled upon this complaint from the 2009 All Star Game, which is regarding the rendition of “O, Canada.” ‘Twas earth-shattering, however the video was entertaining enough. It also included what may be the worst rendition of that national anthem ever recorded.

The 2010 All Star Game

I watched the MLB All Star Game last night, and was somewhat disappointed in the AL’s 3:1 loss. My chief beefs were with the American League’s manager, Joe Girardi. The two most notable instances were as follows.

Ronald Reagan on What’s My Line?

What the former President was doing in the 1950′s. I found it rather interesting to watch, what with the context being so different than what I am accustomed to seeing him in.

The Week That Was

This post shall dwell on three points of interest from this past week; one from television, one from world news, and one from sports. First off, South Park was watched as usual this week, and the episode was OK. However, OK is a serious improvement over the duds that began this season. This week’s episode [...]

Trailer

I came across this trailer to a documentary series that I found rather interesting. It was the 20th Century in 1000 minutes, and most of it can be found on YouTube.

This Week in Television

With no new episodes of The Office, I was left with only South Park this week for original programming. This was the third episode of the season, and the third dud. The plot revolved around the replacement of KFC stores with medicinal marijuana dispensaries. The men in the town then turned to their microwaves in [...]

The Fun of Language

Today, purely by chance, the Cat came across one of his favorite television programs on YouTube, but in German. This amused him greatly, and he proceeded to waste a day rewatching old episodes, but in this new language. Fun times. The videos can be found by search for the user named DeepSpaceNine661. Enjoy.

The Week in Television

This past week saw new episodes of the only new television programs that the Cat watches regularly. One was quite entertaining, the other a dud.
